When we drove to Seattle on New Years Eve to shoot the Space Needle fireworks we actually got to West Seattle quite a bit early, I simply wasn’t sure what traffic or parking would be like. This gave me the opportunity to do a little skyline shooting long before the display started. This image, of the new Great Wheel in Seattle, is one of the shots I made. I have some ideas of how I want to shoot The Great Wheel more at night, and this was really just a shot of opportunity, but I am pleased with the contrast of the blue wheel and the buildings in the background. I hope you enjoy it also.

This is terrific, Scott! Love the colors and vibrant city that reveals some pretty cool details as you spend time taking it all in! Awesome.
