Incase you forgot, I do have a photoblog, and here it is. The reason that you might have forgotten is that I haven’t actually updated it in what seems like forever. It isn’t that I haven’t wanted to update it, just that I have been on the road for work a lot lately and simply haven’t had a chance. But I am going to change that today by posting this image of Maple Park Drive here in Olympia to kick things off again.
The PNW isn’t really known for its fall colors like areas in the northeast US are, but we do have some nice little pockets of places where the color can be quite nice. Maple Park Drive is one such place just a few blocks away from the Washington State Capitol building.
At first I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to get out a day sooner to get this show, this was taken on a Sunday and we had a pretty big wind storm the day before. After I got there and saw that there were a lot of very colorful leaves on the ground I changed my mind, I doubt that the street would have looked like anything other than a street the day before.
