Crossing the street

It has been a few days since I have shared anything here on the photoblog, but I would like to think that I had a great reason.  My wife and I just returned from a long Thanksgiving weekend with my family.  As you may know, my family was the real reason why we moved back to the Pacific Northwest this past spring.

This image really has nothing to do with the move, or Thanksgiving, but it has been sitting on my hard drive since I shot it in July and I have always thought it was an appealing image.  I captured it “from the hip” while walking around in downtown Olympia.  I really can’t say much more about it other than it is of some people crossing the street. :-)

    Interesting tunnel effect here.

By the way, what is that strange looking “pile” to the left of the four pedestrians? It almost appears to be the aftermath of an auto accident.
