The highlight of my trips back to Arizona storm chasing the last 2 years has been spending a full day chasing with my friend Bryan Snider. Bryan seems to be something of a lucky charm for me when it comes to getting some memorable images.
Last year while chasing at the Grand Canyon, we didn’t really get the weather we wanted, but I did manage to capture on of my favorite images of all time, Grand Canyon at Sunset. For this year’s trip to the Painted Desert and Winslow, AZ, the weather gods cooperated nicely and I have a good number of images that I have already shared and will be sharing from the trip, but I wanted to share this one. I have always been a sucker for a picture of a photographer making an image, but when it is of a photographer making an image of a storm, that is even more better. :-) (yes, I know I just said more better)
I hope you enjoy the image, and as always, even if I forget to mention it, please click on the image to see a larger version.
